I can't believe that some lenders and mortage companies will not help those people who have existing loans unless they have fannie may or freddie amc loans. It certainly takes a long time for the stimulus to get "passed" by all levels of government. This is probably a good thing, since it's so serious a bill.

It does make me wonder whether certain politicians are purposefully trying to "stall" the process in hopes that things might improve in the meantime, or in hopes that it will fall on its face.

Thanks for the comments. Looks like folks are expecting Dec/Jan to tbe the timeframe for the next stimulus (75% of votes). However with the auto industry bailout in the works, the stimulus may longer to materalize. Frugal shopping this holiday season is key.
