Now it's just getting worse. The government cannot solve the problem - they created the problem. I don't mind Paulson c...</title><content type='html'>Thanks for the comment TML. I don't mind Paulson changing the course in reaction to changing events, but this is the third time he has done. In fact if he had gone to Congress and asked for $700 billion to buy banks and other companies (which some say equals socialism) then he would have had a much tougher time getting the package approved. Like you said $700 Bn is a lot of money and chaning course is very costly. It really does seems like the treasury is being reactive, rather than proactive to the situation.
