Instead look at the fundmentals and valuations. Google had a PEG of less than 1, which not many tech companies have. Because the number of shares they have publicly issued are so few (50% of the company is owned by employees) is the reason why the share price is so high. This investment was part of building a long term position in a great company. I'm not too keen on highly valued stocks that don't pay dividends.<BR/><BR/>I think I have much more to learn about pure "growth" investing. To me it sounds like "buy-and-hope" investing. <BR/><BR/>Obviously Google is very valuable, though.
