The above dates are estimates only and should only be used as a guideline for your refund processing and payment date. Tax situations vary greatly by individual and per the 8,000+ comments in this article from last year, there could be many reasons for tax refund payment delays. Especially with increased security checks over the last few years to prevent tax identity fraud. Feel free to leave a comment and I am sure you will get an answer from the Saving to Invest Tax community.
Note that for tax filing this year none of the Trump tax breaks will be in effect. They will be applicable from next year.
Filed mid year of 2018 and still says being processed! Please help
I filed my taxes on 2/9/19 and on my WMR it says take action with a ! Mark. At the bottom it say your taxes has been received and is being processed we will let you know when you have a DDD when your statues is update. I never received any letter in the mail and when i called the IRS there saying they don’t see anything wrong and that i don’t need to send any information but the only thing is that i old the irs some money from them sending a additional check last year that they made a mistake on. Could that be holding my refund up and if so what does this take action sign mean i have no bar did anyone ever receive this before.
I filed my taxes 1/29/19 and was accepted on 1/30/19. I have a dependent and EITC as well as school credits. I was aware nothing would be done until the 15 or the funds wouldn’t begin to be realesed until the 27 something like that blah blah. But my problem is my where’s my refund has been saying still processing, a date will be released when available tax topic 152 and it hasn’t changed. So i call and they tell me it’s under review and that they had sent me a letter, but i never received a letter. I’ve never ever had this happen or had any delays since filing i understand the government shut down but I’m worried as i read these comments that it’s gonna take months or even a year! Has anyone had this happen and has good news from it? Or know a little bit more about what’s going on?
I’m going through the same thing
Topic 152 means what help
I heard that it means your getting your return
I filed on Feb 4 2019 and few days later I looked on wheres my refund and it said the first box then now it says the PATH act so.. does anyone have any information on this and if so please text me 3177342627… I just hope I am getting a tax check
Anyone get their refund after almost 5 weeks with the code 152 as well as getting letter in the mail?
I filed January 29th and still haven’t gotten mine. Yes code 152 and have been told many lies from the IRS! Yes I received a letter. I called and asked if I was being audited and was told “absolutely not”. They had no reason for the delay and when I pushed the issue the guy on the phone said he wasn’t going to argue with me! If we owed the IRS money we couldn’t just say “oh I’m sorry you’ll need to wait an additional 45-60 days to get your payment”. Why should we tax paying citizens have to wait for our money. Something is going on and we deserve the truth! It’s time we stand up for ourselves. I’ve contacted the media and encourage others to do the same. I’ve NEVER in almost 40 years of filing taxes ever had an issue with my refund! This is all TRUMPS doing!
Topic 152 means what help
Still waiting on ours too. They were accepted april 22
How long did it take for you to receive the letter? Do you have an estimated deposit date yet?? I’m dealing with the same thing.
I filed on 1/29 and it still says in process. I called and she said that the IRS will take until the 2nd week of April to process. No explanation as to why. Can anyone advise? I’ve been audited before and it was a total nightmare I’m so scared of that happening again. I always use turbo tax but from now on I think I’ll go with an accountant or tax professional I can’t stand this stress
I file on Jan 30 2018 and accepted and I have the path act and now it’s saying on feb 16 2018 on the where my refund that it is being processed and there is no ddd so when should I get my federal in Massachusetts
IRS-website states refund will be sent to my back on 2-14 , I know last year there were some issues… anybody have any delays from the date the IRS stated it would be there?
bank —
I filed mine on the 23rd of Jan they were accepted on the 24th. I keep seeing the dates change for direct deposit it says I’ll get mine by the 19th of Feb
Good job. You used Plain English instead of the Garbagelese most sites slide into.
My return was accepted by the IRS on 1/17. It was accepted on 1/12 last year and was in my account on 2/19, I hope this year is the same.
