2024 IRS Tax Refund Schedule And Direct Deposit Payment Calendar

By all reports tax return processing and refund payments for the 2024 tax season are going much smoother thanks to IRS investments in technology and no new stimulus payments or tax credits to administer. However further security controls and PATH act restrictions (see below) could delay potential refund payments for some filers.

When Can I Expect My Tax Refund in 2024?

According to the IRS refunds will generally be paid within 21 days. This includes accepting, processing and disbursing approved refund payments via direct deposit or check. This is regular days, not business days.

This was the basis for the estimated 2024 IRS refund schedule/calendar shown below, which has been updated to reflect the Jan 29th, 2024 start date of IRS tax return processing this year.

The refund processing schedule is organized by IRS’ WMR/IRS2Go processing status‘. The listed dates are just week ending estimates and your refund could be paid anytime during the week based on your IRS cycle code (see more on that in sections below).

Further, as many tax filers have found out over the last few years, actual refund payment dates could be much longer if your return is pulled for mandated PATH, additional identity fraud/security checks, special handling or manual agency reviews.

The estimated IRS refund payment dates in the chart above should not be construed as official IRS payment dates. To get the exact date of your refund payment check the IRS’ Where is My Refund (WMR) site or your IRS transcript.

How to read the IRS refund processing schedule

The estimated refund payment dates in the table above are based on past years and IRS processing guidelines. It shows the date your refund will be processed and paid based on the week your return is accepted and refund is approved by the IRS.

The federal IRS refund processing schedule is only for electronically filed returns (e-file) done thorough online tax software providers and assumes your tax return was in order. I.e accepted by the IRS via the WMR tool and status is equal to “Return Received”.

Once your tax return is successfully processed by the IRS, it will go to the “Refund Approved” status, after which it goes to refund sent when the payment is disbursed by the IRS.

Paper filed returns can take considerably longer and could take 1 to 2 weeks longer than the direct deposit payment dates.

Average IRS Refund

Based on the latest statistics from the 2023 tax year the IRS processed over 160 million returns with the average refund payment being $3,089. This was 5% lower than the prior year.

Why Your Refund Payment Could be Delayed

There are many reasons your tax return processing could be delayed beyond what is shown in the standard schedule above. This includes submission errors, IRS reconciliation issues or security/fraud related issues.

This is why many filers are see the “Return Processing Has Been Delayed Beyond The Normal Timeframe (Tax Topic 152)” message during tax season.

Note that as in previous years, if you claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) your refund may have been delayed beyond the standard processing times due to the PATH act provisions.

This is to allow for fraud and dependent verification on these dependent related tax credits. See sections below for more on the PATH act and refund release timeline.

For those experiencing ongoing issues or delays with their refunds check out this article on “Why is it taking so long to get my refund.”

IRS Test Batches – Early Refunds

A week or two prior to the IRS officially accepting and processing tax returns, they will often run several test batches with various major tax software providers to “test” and “verify” their systems are integrating externally and processing returns correctly.

This will result in WMR status updates for a small subset of tax payers picked in these early test batches, but refunds won’t be paid until after the official IRS processing date.

Note that early refunds paid as a result of test batch processing are not the same as those via refund advance loans.

When Should Taxpayers contact the IRS?

The IRS has said that phone and walk-in representatives can only research the status of your refund if it has been 21 days or more since you filed electronically, or more than 6 weeks since you mailed your paper return or if the IRS WMR tool directs you to contact them.

You can also see earlier updates from prior tax seasons and the thousands of comments below this article around dealing with delayed tax refund processing issues!

Help! My WMR status bar has disappeared

As many folks have commented, the WMR tracker status bar may disappear or not be shown if your return falls under IRS review after it is received (Status Bar 1: Return Received) because additional information is needed for your return.

This can happen even if you previously checked WMR and it showed the status as “Return Received.”  An explanation or instructions will be provided depending on the situation (e.g. PATH message or Tax Topic 152 as discussed below)

But don’t panic when this happens. The IRS still has your return but things are essentially on hold until the IRS gets the additional information from you to continue processing your return . You will either get directions on WMR or IRS2Go or the IRS will contact you by mail. See more in this video.

Follow the provided instructions and return any additional information ASAP to get your potential refund and reduce any further delays. Talk to your accountant, tax advocate or tax professional if you are not clear on what the IRS is asking for or you don’t get an update after 21 days.

PATH Act and Tax Topic 152

Two of the most common refund related messages showing up on the WMR tool after your tax return is submitted are the PATH message and to Refer to Tax Topic 152.

The PATH message on WMR/IRS2Go relates to the the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act (PATH Act of 2015) and is to notify you that the IRS is legally required to hold and further verify tax returns that include EITC or ACTC.

While the IRS can continue to process affected returns, they cannot issue refund payments until the PATH act lifts. This generally happens from mid-February. See more in this article on PATH act processing for the current tax season.

Path ACT Refund
PATH Refund Delays

The PATH message does not mean your tax return is done and your tax refund is approved. It simply means the IRS systems have identified you are claiming the (EITC) or the (ACTC) on your tax return, and so further processing and payments related to your refund are held up for the statutory hold period (3 weeks after the start of tax season).

Once the PATH restriction is lifted, the IRS will process these returns and pay refunds per the above schedule. You may see Tax code 570 with a Notice 971 code (IRS review adjustment) if your refund is adjusted for other reasons.

When you see the Refer to Tax Topic 152 message it means your refund is being processed and the IRS is directing you its generic refund page for more information. There is not much you can do but wait to see if the IRS finds any issues or requires further verification of your identity or items in your tax return.

A Tax Topic 151 message simply means that you’re getting a tax offset which may result in your refund being less than you expected. The reason for this is that the federal government has “offset” or deducted monies from your tax refund to cover debts you owe other federal agencies. See this article to get more details on why your refund was offset.

You will get an official notice letter/report explaining the actual offset and adjustments to your tax return, and details on how to appeal this action – but likely it will delay you getting your refund.

While not great news, the silver lining here is that the IRS has processed your return and your adjusted refund (where applicable) should be on its way. You will see code 846 on your transcript when the refund has been issued.

What is the IRS Cycle Code on my Transcript?

While the above IRS refund schedule can give you an estimated date for you refund once approved (WMR/IRS2Go status) by the IRS, it may take a while to get there.

So some folks use their IRS tax transcript (free from your IRS account) which shows various tax processing codes and a “cycle code.” This is an eight digit number that indicates when your tax return posted to the IRS Master File (IMF).

The cycle code is updated regularly and when combined with the tax topic code, can provide insight into your tax refund status, processing stages and potential direct deposit date. You can see a deeper discussion on IRS cycle codes in this article.

IRS Tax Transcript Cycle Code

If I can see current year processing details on my IRS tax transcript does it mean I am getting my refund soon?

This question comes up a lot and I have seen a few comments on this suggesting that that if you can see current tax season processing details on your (free) transcript then your refund is on the way. But this is not a factual statement.

The IRS is very clear that just being able to see processing details on your IRS transcript does not mean you will imminently be getting a refund and is among the common myths and misconceptions repeated in social media.

For the current tax season you transcript will update several times in line with your cycle code (discussed above) and IRS processing. The official IRS line is that checking the WMR or IRS2Go tool is the best and official way to check your refund status.

However I have read a number of comments here and on other tax sites saying that when WMR/IRS2Go provides limited information on the refund, your IRS transcript can be a good source to get more details. The is especially the case if your refund processing has been stuck for a while.

IRS system issues and refund delays

Every year the IRS has issues with processing returns in a timely manner and so a number of people see delays in getting their refunds or updates in the status of their refund on the WMR tool/app.

The IRS has said most system processing issues have now been resolved and new funding will be used to upgrade systems.

But given the various legacy systems in place and sheer volume of processing to be done, including prior season backlogs of paper and amended returns, I would not be surprised to see system issues arise again this year, which mean more delays in processing and paying refunds. See more around processing delays in this video.

See these articles for average refund amounts in past tax seasons and refund processing times by state

Amended Tax Return Refund Schedule

While the IRS promises to have regular return refunds processed within 21 days for nine out of ten tax payers, it does take quite a bit longer to receive a refund if you amended your tax return.

Generally you will have to wait up to 16 weeks more for the IRS to process amended returns since they prioritize regular returns. Also note that the standard”Where’s my refund” service from the IRS does not track amended tax return status’. You need to instead use the IRS tool, “Where’s My Amended Return.”

You can also access the tool via phone by calling 1-866-464-2050.  Only call the IRS to follow up on delayed amended return refunds after 12 weeks. The number to call is 1-800-829-1040.

    • Have you checked to make sure your refund wasn’t offset? That happened to me one year. I was waiting, waiting, waiting, and then called this number to check if I had an offset. And yep, my whole refund was taken by the government for my student loans

  2. Hello All
Going through the same thing. Filed March 4th accepted, processing as of March 11,
given the date of March 25 to direct deposit One day I went on to check status and it changed to “sorry for the delay” code152 Nothing since, it has been about six weeks. I;ve seen not just a few, but a ton of people get their returns in 21 days exactly or sooner. All of my co workers, family and neighbors, I have done nothing different and made no major life changes on my filing status. This has never happened to me. Its awful for some whom depend on it to get caught up on bills, vacay for kids promised, single moms. I too am a single mom. I signed new lease paperwork for a better place for me and my daughter (22) college student and works. Guess what? we are supposed to move in April15. this weekend. Its a beautiful place affordable in this market and safe. A hard to come by unit. I will probably loose because of my 2000.00 security deposit, I was depending on that money. My money that I overpaid and they owe me!!! Some one please let me know if you or someone you know gets that code and finds a solution or get their money and how long it took. Unbelievable.

  3. My refund was filled 2/1/2022 accepted around that date. They refunded me my state real quickly direct deposit to my account, it is March the 18, and I still waiting on my federal. This is the first ever for mine to take this long to be refunded. I have received two letters from IRS stating they are holding it. And I checked my status daily it keeps saying same thing, process is passed the timeframe and I have topic 152. What I dislike is they don’t tell you no farther information. It states call number too for questions, but through phone nothing. This year big mess. With IRS holding refunds and processing.

    • It really seems to be a lot better this year rather than last. 2019-2020/ 2020-2021!!! It took me ummm I filed 2/14/2021 received and accepted same day 2/14/21, approved 3/2/2021 Didn’t receive until 10/28/21 I’d never been so frustrated in my entire life. I’ve e-filed same tax place, same dependents, same job, same everything 10+ years. To begin with I had to print and send through snail mail because I was rejected (for code 507) meaning my dependent had already been claimed. Very frustrating. Come to find out after everything (months n months) with IRS that too was false, just a glitch in their system after the wait of 8 months. Now again this year it’s happened again, sad thing about all of this is that there is absolutely nothing we can do but sit and wait “patiently”. Congress really should have to do something considering its millions of people going through similar situations not just hundreds or even thousands, that we indeed should not have to be dealing with this and being taxpayers. I’m now fixing to have to deal with this all over again with these people is the way it seems. What is the most frustrating is not being able to reach out and call unless being on hold 5+ hours and that’s even if you’re lucky. Which WORKING TAXPAYER HAS THAT KIND OF TIME? NOBODY! Only the ones receiving free stimulus checks for their “DEPENDENTS” right??? Definitely not me working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week!! Filed 1/26/22 and what do you know REJECTED CODE 507????!! Coincidence?? Definitely Not!! The thing that frustrates me the most is that folks that don’t have to work and the government pays everything for them Medicaid, food Stamps, section 8, now stimulus payments with unemployment and have never worked and have lots of children, aka “Dependents”, make 10x’s off better than someone that has to stay working. I’m the individual that barley makes ends meet and beg for a weekend off work to spend time with my kids. I’m stage 3 cancer with types of cancer and can’t even get a decent insurance because I work. Rent and bills buy kids food and few items they need gas for car then broke. Barley affords car insurance; this is really disturbing to me. We as the people really have to stand up and speak out or it’s going to keep getting worse. Now most IRS workers are working from home but literally doing nothing but still getting them paychecks. Like this can’t get made up. Make it make sense, right?! I’m definitely keeping us all in prayer because we are going to need it and this tax season started only a couple months ago. Jesus Take the wheel!! Good Luck Everyone!!

These types of situations always happens to people who work hard to try to provide for their family with no special handouts. After all year of trying to stay above poverty, then you are faced with the IRS delaying your refunds and giving you vague information when you log in. The IRS is a bully agent and is ran by all things evil on this earth.

I would send them a bill with the tax amount WITH the Penalty they charge us if it is our fault!!! Work up an invoice to send to them! We all should do that!!!! Just A Valid Suggestion In My Opinion!!

      • Lord knows that I have been through this exact situation. I’m there with you now, just don’t have any children. Single just received my second diagnosis of cancer on February 27th and on that exact day my employer of 5 years terminated me because of it!! I had just recently separated from my husband and moved to a small town home where my rent is 1500 a month and now I have crazy medical expenses that I’m going to have to pay for. I filed my taxes on Feb 1st and received a letter stating that it was being reviewed for Fraud, just to make sure I was the one who filed it. It stated if I was I didn’t need to do anything else but scan my dl and face on ID me. So I did. My return date was feb 22 and now it’s March 14 and I still have nothing. My status has not updated from received! I sent the form 911 for the tax advocate to help me because I was in hardship and they haven’t even bothered to reply back. I live in a small town in WNC where there’s not many resources for help and I have no family left. I’m jobless, alone, almost broke, and by April 1st will be homeless because I can’t afford the rent or to buy groceries now. Not to mention my treatments… and they wonder why suicide rates are so high in the United States!

      • I filed my tax return on February 8th and it was accepted shortly after. I have yet to receive federal or state refund, WMR keeps showing me the same processing message with CODE 152 hasn’t shown anything else since the day after i filed it has always shown the same thing never a status bar! Transcript shows a CODE 570 then CODE 971 but have yet to receive a notice in my mailbox either! I think the IRS needs to get on their game, and get us our money it is VERY IMPORTANT!! Especially when you are a single mother with no help otherwise!! We depend on this for help with bills!! I’d like to be able to keep my home for my children, but if my refund does not come soon i’m looking at losing everything! I dealt with this same mess last year, and did not receive my refund until THIS YEAR! It finally came February 7, 2022! THAT IS SAD!! I am sick of this mess I didn’t even receive a single CTC payment last year because of the mess with my refund! I can’t get ahold of anyone when I call so I am at a standstill once again, and that Tax Advocate mess is a scam too! I sent in a 911 form for help, but of course nothing!!

    • Did you end up getting it yet? I get people getting upset but everyone here has literally waited one to two months and I’ve got nothing wrong and have filed the same way with same dependents and everything. Filed May 10 accepted on May 15th and still waiting with still processing on wmr 5 months later. It’s almost November and all they can tell me is everything is being done manually to just keep checking wmr until it shows bars and sent. I’ve been able to get my transcripts all along as well so that’s definitely got nothing to do with there little way of holding tax payers monies! Thanks for trying to find ways around it but that’s definitely not one! It’s actually hard to figure them out because when someone does figure out a lil lee way for us they change it up again immediately!! This is just crazy!

  9. I efiled our taxes on eztaxreturn site on Feb 14. I have used them for the last 7 years and never had a problem. On about Apr 15 I received a letter from the IRS saying they needed proof of all my federal tax payments for 2020. The only payments made were through taxes taken out of my paycheck so I sent a copy of my W2. When I finally got a hold of someone, after about 50 calls, they said we were randomly selected for a W2 check. WHAT?? Doesn’t my employer submit a copy to them when they send me mine? I think it is just a stall tactic and they are holding larger refunds because they are broke. Its not right we had to cancel a vacation and run up credit cards in order to pay for things that our tax refund would usually pay for. So its now Jun 19, almost 19 weeks since I filed and 9 weeks since I responded to their notice, and still nothing! This is not right.

I currently filed my taxes through freetaxusa and it was approved and excepted and says on my account log that it would electronically be deposited to my account that I had put on there to get directly deposited. This was Feb 2nd 2021 and it still has never came on my card yet and it seems like there had to be something possibly going on for it to say its being processed on irs website where my refund and says it would put the date whenever it would be posted . Honestly cannot get a hold of anyone on phone to speak with to ask them what is going on . Its even been way to long period to electronically be going to be posted to my account checking. Can someone help me possibly please

    • Unfortunately IRS said taxes will be taken up to 10 weeks this year and for the next couple of years . More likely if your expecting a higher amount of tax return. But may be you will have better luck !!

How do you speak to a live person at the IRS?

The IRS telephone number is 1-800-829-1040.
The first question the automated system will ask you is to choose your language.
Once you’ve set your language, do NOT choose Option 1 (regarding refund info). Choose option 2 for “Personal Income Tax” instead.
Next, press 1 for “form, tax history, or payment”.
Next, press 3 “for all other questions.”
Next, press 2 “for all other questions.”
When the system asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, do NOT enter anything.
After it asks twice, you will be prompted with another menu.
Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Finally, press 4 for all other inquiries. The system should then transfer you to an agent

  11. Hi everyone, I filled my return April 14th. My stature with the IRS is still processing. Nothing yet … It is so frustrating because I am going on a vacation in June, planned a year in advance and was really counting on my tax return for a successful family vacation. I’m sad-mad…. I know the IRS is swamped but I do also tell they are highly unorganized this year. I just need them to get it together and send me my hard earned money. :-D

    • Kelli, I am in the exact same situation. We are going to visit 85 year old ailing MIL and we barely have enough to get there and pay for room so we will have to borrow from relative for spending $. Meanwhile should have received refund at beginning of June with plenty of time to buy things for vacation now we can’t even buy food or pay any bills. I really hope irs will pay interest. Ha! What a joke. All of this could be handled with a mass hiring campaign for good paying jobs with health care and work from home. They would have jobs filled so fast and at least get things on track for future. I’m so depressed Good luck I hope things work out for you!

  12. Had a Tax Accountant do my taxes like every year, and always have received my refund in two weeks. My siblings and almost everyone I now filed their taxes two weeks after me, at the end of April 2021 and have already received their refunds, and I am still waiting on mine. Can’t reach a real person at IRS, and the same recording saying it’s being processed. I need that money to live on and pay my bills but evidently they don’t care. It’s frustrating, to wait and not know when your money will arrive. If it was the other way around, you’d be hearing from IRS asking you where their money is.

    • All I can say is hang in there. I was accepted February 13th 2021. I got my refund finally yesterday with interest I might add. A whopping $4.35. The delay in the IRS processing my refund in turn caused me to miss out on the 3rd stimulus package when it was issued by direct deposit to most so now they’re not doing anything but checks and they’re not sending me that until next week and then however long it takes to crawl its way to me.

  16. After reading all of the above comments I am pretty depressed. With all the political BS on the news about helping people get out of their COVID caused financial stress, you would think there would be some greater sense of urgency to deliver. My taxes were accepted on March 5th. Because I was laid off from a company after 31 years, I secured a new job in 12 days at a 52% pay cut. This caused a big over payment situation ( 2019 pay vs 2020 and then the stimulus credits in 2020 etc) The IRS owes us over $9000 and also the $2800 stimulus) Today is May 7th and the IRS web site still says the same old thing, “being processed”. Instead of a help I am now running up new debt on bills I must pay and have to do so on credit. I am going to go back to claiming 10 dependents again so I owe the IRS next year. I will pay on the last day. I hope the comment that I saw about the IRS having to pay interest after 45 days is true, penalties should be a two way street.

    • I’m here to tell you that I have already hit the point of having to use credit to pay my bills waiting for these payments. Even if I got everything I am owed today it wouldn’t cover the entirety of what I now have in credit card debt. I’m owed I’m owed jjjj

    • Good Morning David, I too am so frustrated with the IRS. Our return was accepted on February 25th , and we still have not received our federal refund $8000 to be exact. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact them via telephone and have only been able to speak with someone one time. She stated that ” because they updated their systems back in February, anyone filing electronically would see a delay because of the new changes”. Unbelievable isn’t it. I hope that they do give interest on the late payment . We are now going into week 11 and they said that it should only take 10 weeks. Needless to say, we are beyond frustrated. I hope you have received your refund by the time you receive this response. Have a great day .

      • We are having the same problem. Our taxes were received on March 22. IRS2GO is saying still processing. I have talked to an actual person twice. The first time in May. I was told that most likely it would be refunded on June 2nd- and no explanation as to why. I called again on June 3rd because we are still processing and no refund. I was told that Ayers Consolidated had our return and they are still working on it-again they couldn’t give me a specific reason why it was even tagged for review. They just told me to continue to be patient. Ha!

I have 2 kids and my wife to care for. I have no credit cards and I have no savings. I am slowly falling into debt every day with the cost increases on everything. I have a no idea when my refund will come if it does but it looks like it will be just getting me back to even. It is worse then the media is letting on. I see buissnes closed and closing every where. I will say that I have had my best year last year but the cost of living has gone up.
It’s not right that we face penalties for sending our taxes in but we have to wait for an undisclosed amount of time for what could mean life or death to some.

This is after being accepted February 13, 2021 & finally getting the only bit of communication from the IRS on May 1st, 2021 stating that I needed to verify my identity. I have a single 1099-G no special deductions of any sort. I got a link & pass code to go in and enter my AIG & expected return amount. Then received an email saying that my identity has now been verified and they would continue processing my return. I should get a date for my return payment when processing was complete. I could expect up to 9 weeks before payment was received. I don’t understand what the problem was with my identity or how that verified anything.

  19. I’m in same boat was accepted Feb 14th same day as my ex she got hers back in 2 weeks but yet I’m the one who has children and they on my return. You would think people with kids would take priority over single people but seems only single people are ones getting theirs back I don’t know anyone claiming children that’s got a refund yet only single people with smaller refunds almost makes you wonder if they don’t have the money to cover them and are waiting for those people who have to pay in to do so before they have funds to pay everyone else. Yet again our great government fails us. Now I understand why people are avoiding paying taxes period . it’s our money and we can’t even get it or our questions answered. I can’t even understand people answering phones at irs. They speak broken English and mumble on top of that. This is last year I ever file I’m doing tax exempt from now on and they can come after me to get paid. By law if it’s over 45 days getting you your refund they are obligated to pay you interest on your refund.

No contact or corrections requested from IRS. Unable to reach live assistance.

Single mom, I do not qualify for any stimulus checks, I do not receive child support. I work in healthcare and had cut hours and a pay decrease due to the pandemic. My taxes were done correctly. No changes in address, bank, name, or deductions from previous year. This is very frustrating! I feel like we all deserve some sort of compensation!!!! I already pay a ton in taxes each year. 23. My husband and I filed our taxes on January 30th and they were accepted on Feb. 13th. Since then they have been in “processing.” I call and speak to a rep almost every other day to figure out what is going on. One week ago, a rep. informed me that there was an error with some of our income (it had not been reported by our employers), this caused them to pull our taxes until they figured this out, then they were reuploaded into the system on 3/30. Four days ago, a rep. put in a “referral,” to speed up the process since it has been longer than 8 weeks since we filed. Two days ago, we were told it is STILL in processing and they do not have any idea of a timeframe of when we will receive the refund. They did say that the “referral” would cause someone from the processing department to reach out to us, but they have 30 days to respond. So no rush there with any of them. We have 4 small children and this is beyond ridiculous. We have filed taxes for the past 9 years, and normally have our refund by the third week of February to the first week of March. I have never waited this long. The irritating and frustrating part is constantly being told by reps. that they cannot provide any information other than it is “still in processing.” Someone is getting paid way to much money to mess with the livelihoods of others and we need answers now!

  29. After reading many comments seems like early filers are having issues.. I did have my return reviewed last year and it was almost 4 months before I received my refund. However, this year I filed 3/23/21 through Turbo Tax, same way I’ve filed for 15 years, return was accepted same day within 2 hours and I checked both my Federal and State ( South Carolina) both are in last stage on bars.. with federal DD date of 3/31. SC updates every Wednesday and usually is within 2 days of Fed DD, consistent with my returns in the past. I’m assuming my state will be DD by 4/1.

It’s now 3/22 and neither of us have gotten any updates on our returns. Still showing tax topic 152 and we’ve received nothing in the mail saying we need to submit additional information. Because of this, we both missed out on the most recent stimulus.

Calling the IRS is a waste of time, they’ll just tell you to “be patient” and “wait another week” before calling just in case it updates. Insane.

This is OUR MONEY…we overpaid in our taxes and we NEED OUR MONEY now….not when someone decides to take a look at it. No phone support…no answers why its delayed…..Its really frustrating because this money would really help with the impact the COVID has had on our family. Common IRS…do something about this please.

Personally, I think it’s bcuz these irs agents are allowed to work from home and nothing is getting done while “little timmy is crying at moms feet”, or she has to make little timmy lunch! I have filed for 20 years and NEVER had an issue like this! Accepted on 2/12…..STILL no update! How can others who file after us get their refunds? It’s ridiculous. And the excuse about line 30 mistakes are bologna …there is No errors department when it comes to line 30 ( stimulus rebate ), it’s a computer fix. The computer automatically amends the issue and pushes it back to process. I GURANTEE IF THESE IRS AGENTS WERE ACTUALLY IN AN OFFICE INSTEAD OF AT HOME, WE WOULDN’T HAVE THESE ISSUES! Time for Congress to intervene!!!!
